Don’t follow me, I’m lost too!
It’s frustrating getting lost on a new housing estate – but even more so when the developers leave it over a year to put up new street names…
That’s been the case on the new Goldcrest estate near Maghull North station with a number of delivery drivers complaining of getting lost simply because of the lack of street signs.
A spokesperson for Sefton Council said:
“While there are no definitive timescales on implementing street name signage, common practice is that they are in place by such a time when homes start to become occupied.
“We will liaise with the developer of this particular site to ensure these signs are implemented as soon as possible.”
