At 79, Noel Delaney is retiring from his position as a West Lancashire councillor.
Noel, who is also a former mayor, has been a leading member of the borough’s licensing and gambling committee for years.
Noel was thanked by council staff at his final meeting of the West Lancashire Licensing & Gambling Sub-Committee on May the 3rd. Officers have praised his leadership and patience as chairman in licensing committee meetings, which can be lengthy and called at short notice.
