A motorist from Parbold ha been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a video was posted on Instagram of a car driving at 151mph on the M58.
Footage from Instagram Live showed a VW Golf R racing other drivers, undertaking and reaching high speeds.
His actions were picked up Merseyside Police who passed the footage onto their colleagues at Lancashire Constabulary.
The 20-year-old was arrested May 31st and has since been released under investigation; a car has also been seized.
A police spokesman said: “We take reports like this seriously and anyone found to have put others in danger on the road will be dealt with accordingly.”
